Tuscan Bonnet conversion
Discussion
Allan fitted a kit with solid supports to my Mk1 Tuscan, quite a few years ago now and no issues during my ownership.
When I bought a Mk2 in 2019 I bought a kit from Allan with gas struts and fitted myself following the detailed instructions provided. No issues since.
This is the best improvement you can do on a Tuscan (if you ever want to open the main bonnet) IMHO

No stress fractures at all, anywhere or any related paint or high speed flexing issues at all? When I bought a Mk2 in 2019 I bought a kit from Allan with gas struts and fitted myself following the detailed instructions provided. No issues since.

I'm really tempted, but........
