Tuscan chassis refurb
Discussion
I have decided to keep my Tuscan and have a body off chassis restoration.
Is there any mods i should consider to the front suspension, suspension arms to make it less nervous.
I have the correct size tyres and spacers on the front
I have read about sagaris suspension arms and altering the angle of the steering column
Thanks
Si

There are a number of threads about handling mods.
Andy - the guy offering throttle body bush mods - got some Sag front upright base plates made up that go below the wheel carrier. I understand this is a better solution than shimming up the steering rack.
3mm wheel spacers (all round?) was another mod - which I assume is the referrence in your post.
Then there were the geo and suspension settings / set up which I think are a personal choice.
I recall seeing a post recently - may have been facialacnme - where some one had re-orientated the shocks to be more vertical.
Pot of coffee, google and some reading through the forums

In that case you've already got the updated wishbones, uprights and wider rack/shorter track rods. Best bet would be to get the suspension set up properly with decent shocks/springs and set the rack height to dial out any bump toe in by measuring not guessing. I'm not convinced you need much more from my experience.
Thanks a lot, i have nitrons and have it set up every 12k service. Maybe its as good as it can be.Thanks for your advice and knowledge
I’m at the same stage, bare chassis, ready for blasting and coating. To give a comparison, sportmotive are half the cost of central RT for blasting and coating (quotes a couple of weeks ago). Without any repairs if needed.
I’ve used RT in the past when it was Richard Thorpe but I’ll more likely head to sportmotive this time.

I don't want mine powder coating and ideally want it thermal sprayed then epoxy mastic, but struggling to find anywhere up North.I’ve used RT in the past when it was Richard Thorpe but I’ll more likely head to sportmotive this time.
Car is booked in for a chassis refurb at sportmotive, its booked in for October but they are hoping to get it in sooner. I'm not really using it at the moment as the suspension bushes are shot and the diff is on its last legs. Glad i didnt sell it as i have missed not using it this summer.
Progress,it's been a long time coming.
