Roof Release Cables
Discussion
Having had my Tuscan off the road for a short while, there are a few jobs I need to get done now it's back on the road, one of which is to sort out the near side roof release cable. It's still in tact, hasn't broken or snapped but is probably on its way out and I think the cable might be fraying and snagging. It won't fully extend so won't fully secure the roof. I can retract it with the boot handle, but when I release the handle to the 'closed' position, the pin doesn't fully come out. Is this something I can do / rectify / change without having to get the interior trim off the roll cage etc? I've had a look for previous threads, hence knowing about the awful job it is to remove the trim etc, but I'm hoping, as nothing has snapped, that I can do whatever needs to be done from one end or the other.
