245 to 255 on the same spider rim?
Discussion
I tried just tires, black circles and some other one. All had the 255 advertised at reasonable prices but when I phoned for a quote they weren’t actually available or if they could get them then it was an order job and the price was £200+. That was from the TVR car club contact at just tires I recall. I went with a local (black circles) £480 all in. He said he had been asked about the 255 sections a few times this week and he can’t get them till late summer. May have been codswollop as they would prefer to sell what they have on the shelf but just tires suggested the same. Not bad really considering anything you want to buy goes up £5 a day at the mo.
Avons through TVRCC was also a viable option with the 255 rears available but was a bit dubious about them. Cheap thought.

To follow up. Eagle f1 asm 6 +full alignment and the car is reborn!
No bump steer at all. Tracking and cornering like a go-cart. Huge grip no nervousness and one finger driving on the motorway. I thing the ride has improved too. The plastic hockey pucks that where on it where really holding it back.
They are also very nice looking too.

That's good to read thanks for the feedback. I've got some going on the front of mine next week, 225 down from 235 in an effort to reduce tram lining. Had driving/ handling issues mixing the original asymmetric with asym3 over different axles a while ago but hoping 6's and 4's will be ok as there's loads of tread left on the back.
