Sorry if this is a dumb question but can anyone tell me, please, how to remove the anti rattle/retaining clip on the rear brake pads (calipers). I simply want to take the pads out to inspect, clean and replace. I have not come across this type of rear caliper before (Sierra Cosworth ?) and dont want to bend or break the clip.. It may be very stuck but I dont want to exert force before I know how it is retained. I have searched the web for information on this type but cant find anything so probably the answer is very obvious ?
Presumably once I have got the clip out it is then easy to take the pads out to clean and replace ?
The front ones were easy !!
Thanks very much for any replies.
Just a further thought : Does the clip only come off once the brake pad "holder" has been withdrawn off the two shafts ? I.e the clip is taken off afterwards rather than before ?
Thanks.

You have to take the caliper off the carrier, ie remove the 2 slide pin bolts, to get the pads out and the spring plate stays on the caliper.
