I was driving along Romford last night around 9pm where I witnessed an after crash. After driving up to the scene I was dismayed that it was a brand new blue Tuscan with the bonnet hanging on the side railings of the road, the railings totally smashed in, the car itself in the middle of road front all smashed up, and the radiator fans about another 20 meters further down the road! To the guy who owned this guy, I feel very sorry for you mate, but you must have been flying down that road (prob a 40mph) at about 100mph to be able to crash like that.

Ooo blimey.... sounds nasty. Not done by a TVR, but for the moron that crashed into the wall in Newmarket opposite the gallups.... If you modified your car to go round corners then you wouldnt have hit the brick wall at the end of the straight!

Sorry, got a bit O/T there - sorry wont do it again (for a bit anyway).

Cheers,

Paul

When I worked in Elm Park I used to see a couple of Tuscans, not brand new ones though.

Where abouts in Romford?

good to hear from you Andy. Thought that would be the end of your TV career

BTW - I see in another "road racers" programme they "borrowed" your plate to stick on a Fiat Coupe for matey to introduce the feature! cheeky!

its one the of straight roads to leads to the Brewery shopping centre. Long enough to gather some serious high speed I guess! It was a blue metallic Tuscan, though didnt quite catch the number plate.

I know! I was pissed off about that one! Did you see a quick glimpse of the Tuscan in that program
though

Got it online somewhere I think. I'll post the link when I find it.

I was coming down past the Ice rink, went around the roundabout, lost it about half way around, caught it but over corrected and hit the barrier on the entrance to the ring road ( just before you get to Bus stop / Ambulance station).

According to my dad, about a week later someone did exactly the same thing with an XR4i, but he had gone one step further and ended up in someones front garden!!

yeah - noticed a more "overhead" shot of the car this time, rather than a moving shot! Was hoping you would be at VW as i wanted a photo of your motor. IMHO its in the nicest colour for a Tuscan and the plate finishes her off.
