While on holiday in a far flung place

I decided to have my 2 year service and also have my Geodosy unit installed. When I got the car back I noticed a few black cable-ties holding the steering wheel housing together which I hadn't noticed before.

Now, am I going completely barmy or have these been added, 'cos if they have then I am none too pleased!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing like this on mine - have had it all to bits - the holdong together technology on mine is typical TVR that'll do stuff - but not like yr pics. Nothing visible externally at that spot on mine.

Cheers guys,

I didnt think it was correct. I spoke to the garage yesterday afternoon. I have mailed them the pictures and they are going to investigate. Apart from a new housing I cant think what they are going to do to rectify it.

I have the answer.

Apparently a few customers in the past have asked for a more secure way of holding the housing together as theirs has started to rattle/come apart (isnt this why we buy TVRs in the first place???) and the solution used was to tie them together using cable ties. The engineer thought that mine was in for the same reason and out came the cable ties.

The garage have apologised and promised they will sort it so alls well that will end well.
