Differences in head room...

So, today I sat in a couple of Tuscans..My objective was to see if I could fit in a T350C....and I don't. (or a Tamora)
I sat in MK2 Tuscan S convertible and just about got comfy enough..I assume I could remove the seat runners? (I've just got my existing Chimaera seat bolted straight onto the floor)
I also sat in a MK1 Tuscan Targa and had no chance...
So, my question is...Is it the convertible bit of it providing more head room or is it the MK2 just a little bit taller?

The roofline of the the Tuscan convertible is higher due to the roll hoops fitted behind the seats. As a consequence the folding rear part of the convertible "pram" needs to be higher to clear the hoops when in the upright position.
If you study a couple of side on pics of both the convertible and the targa the difference is quite obvious.

I didn't remove any cushions, equally I imagine it'll be rather uncomfortable with no cushion?
I didn't find it at all uncomfortable, with the added benefit it gives masses more lateral support. Basically changes the seat from touring to quasi bucket - could still do with more shoulder and bolster support to do a proper job though but that would make getting in and out more difficult. I'm sure the T350 have the same seats so if it's one of those you're after have another look.

How tall are you OP? I'm 6'7" and fit within a MK1 in reasonable comfort - just. But with a Chimaera, T350 I had no chance
