The one in the link is a MK2 (non wavy dash) and has three time the mileage of the STR8SIX one which is already sold.https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...

I understand that the Straight6 one is more valuable but I was surprised at £20k more

The Targa top wavey dash Tuscan S is the holy grail of Tuscans, probably more so than the convertible (more resolved styling). I believe there were less than 20 built? At 18k less than an equivalent Sag, that’s a bargain.
They are generally the holy grail but only due to low numbers. Many people actually prefer the normal mk2 pod dash and from what I understand that is literally the only difference between them so the £ difference does seem excessive. I couldn’t stretch to the £30k needed for one back in 2011 and that one has never surfaced since :-(

Because it was only in production from 1st Jan'06 till May'ish 06 and there were no customer orders

See Dave you talked yourself round there - you want a wavy dash really lolI couldn’t stretch to the £30k needed for one back in 2011 and that one has never surfaced since :-(
I remember seeing this very car in Goole town centre of all places. I was probably 16-17 years old, working at Woolworths as a Saturday boy shortly before they went under. I remember the registration number and the wavey dash, in fact I've probably got some photos of it on an old phone somewhere. The owner started it up and left it idling while I looked round it, my strongest memory of it was the gear lever moving about with the drivetrain vibration. Years ago now but still vivid.
