Does the Red Rose package help handling?
Discussion
Well Graham (and Rosie) has got one and he thinks yes. I have got one and I think yes. Plus we have both used them on the track and they handle excellently.
The problem is what are we comparing them against? The original standard 4.0 litre on 16 inch wheels, or the same car on 18's? Or the newer 3.6 litre cars on 16's or 18's. Or the S?
The reason for asking is that the suspension setup's are rumoured to have changed across all these cars and they are not always right for the combination of car and wheels that you have.
But for the RR, TVR created an upgraded suspension package which matched the larger 18's on the car and was biased towards trackday type driving. Now I am not saying that it is not possible to make it better using 3rd party technology but compared to the other standard cars (not sure about the S) it is IMHO a big improvement.
Yahoo, your profile does not say which Tuscan you own (have owned), so I cannot judge where your experiences come from.

Out of all the Tuscans I have driven, I would say that they all handle differently, because no two wheels are ever pointing in the same direction when they come in for service. If you are considering the red rose suspension, don't. It is softer, but makes the car roll more. You are far better to get your Wheel alignment and camber set up on your Tuscan. If set up right the car will feel more stable at speeds, turn in quicker, be easier to drive and will not need 3 lanes of the motorway to keep it under control!

ditto about the geometry thing .. always used to make me laught at HHC when cars would come through on pre delivery inspection with a printed sheet of the suspension angles on .. they bore no relation to what the car actually stood at .. i often wondered if TVR just made them up or just got them mixed up between cars, I certainly never saw a car which matched it's printout anyway ..
