It's so annoying! My dad said he'd rent out a Tuscan if I got 5 straight A's in my Higher exams.

I got 5 A's , but nowhere in Scotland rents out TVR's at all! This sux!

Oh well, I love the car anyway...

by the way, where does the petrol go in, theres seems to be no visible fuel cap?

Whats the rough retained value on a tuscan?

Is it pretty much true that Tuscan's are just for the rich?

Do TVR offer financial plans at all?

Kebaboy, if your dad said he'd rent one, make him rent one from Barnet, so you can enjoy the 400 mile drive home! I'm sure he's always told you to honour your word . . .

Petrol filler is in the boot, just like all current TVR's and there was one in Sunday's paper for sale at £26,500 so you need some cash but not exactly a lottery win Well done with the studies, keep up the hard work and your get one before too long

Remember, most TVR owners have theirs by hard graft in their chosen professions .. . . so keep working hard and you might become one of the youngest owners! (Now there an impetus to succeed - what a target?!)

You haven't done your research - this lot in Edinburgh hires out an old TVR S3....

I think our boy here would feel a bit short-changed if he got this rather than a Tuscan!

Can't one of you Scottish Tuscan boys put this lad out of his misery and take him out for a blast one weekend?

After ok-ing it with Mum and Dad, obviously, in these somewhat dodgy times.

(Can just imagine the scenario:

Kebabboy - Dad, I'm just going out for an hour with this bloke with a flash sports car I met on the internet

Kebabdad - Like fcuk you are....)

Talk to the people at Bespokes (www.bespokes.co.uk) or Northern Sports Car Hire (www.sportscarhire.net). They both deliver cars and while there might be an extra charge for bringing the car to Scotland, I'm sure they'd be willing to entertain the idea. NSCH is in Yorkshire and their web site features a flat-bed truck which seems to suggest that they will be willing to bring the car just about anywhere in the UK if the price was right.

Or, as an alternative, you could come to them and pick the car up locally and have a nice holiday blasting around the countryside for a week.
