A Tuscan with an engine rebuild is very worthwhile. Especially if done by one of the reputable TVR specialists. Will probably also mean the ancillaries have had work e.g. the Clutch.
A spoiler is not a deal breaker, its overall condition. I find the Tuscan more expensive to maintain and repair. The electrics are weak and troublesome.
But they are a lovely car on the open road and do get lots of attention.

As already said if the rebuild has been carried out by one of the main dealers it's a good sign.
You can get a dealer to give it the once over for you, str8six offer this service as far as I remember, assuming you have made your choice.
I bought a 2006 model and had it checked out before I bought it.
Great cars you will have a lot of fun and looks.

The more expensive one only had a top-end rebuild, you'd need to see the exact spec of what was done by Powers to see what latent risk it still carries and its long since out of warranty. Wasn't serviced for 3 years after that rebuild run-in phase according to the ad so that could be a concern. That one is a very early car although it has got Nitrons so has had some suspension fettling. TVRCC member so should be easy enough to get feedback on the car itself and he/she quotes the warm-up procedure which is good (although no guarantee all drivers in its existance adhered)
If the other is the Crystal Topaz one it is somewhat unusal to see a 2000 build car going that far without a rebuild. Most of the non-rebuilt survivors >50k are the post 2002 cars. That one also has a 5-year servicing gap. The miles covered between isn't significant in either case but not at least changing the oil on calendar basis is a bit worrying with what these engines can do to themselves (not that it would wholly prevent the usual failure modes). That one also has Nitrons and probably the same suspension infrastucture so not much between them on paper. £3k difference seems about right given the caveats in para 1.
Best to see both in the flesh and see how they drive then put away a slush fund if you plump for either.
