Ambient Air Temp Sensor, O/S Headlamp Compartment contents

After a recent respray I got the car back showing a fault code H, and I assumed that the ambient air temp sensor had not been replugged.

However, having just got around to checking this I can't find an air temp sensor anywhere in the O/S Headlamp Compartment where I believe it should be (I have had a very thorough dig around in there and can't find it mounted or loose anywhere)

I've been looking for a replacement part, and I suspect it's the same as the airbox mounted temp sensor, but can anybody confirm this?

Also, as with any job I do something else always seems to crop up at the same time... when digging around the compartment I found not one but two detached connectors:



The one on the left I suspect is the Temp Sensor if I'm right about the picture I'm looking at on Racetech/TVR parts... but what is the other one???

The one on the left does look like the external temperature sensor on mine.
I replaced mine recently and got one from TVR Parts.
From memory it is different from the air box one and has a solid brass (might be some other metal) cover on it without holes.
Mine was mounted in the bottom of the wing through a hole but got broken off going over a drain.so I moved into the front (I don't have the standard grill on mine). I also think that the hole in the bottom of the wing is ment to be there for drainage from the AC.
