Hello all Tuscan enthusiasts, we are in the process of developing a 'genuine' sports exhaust as a direct fit to your car. It is bigger bore, 'loses' the intermediate box, and the rear cans are available in two alternative titanium finishes with a stubby chrome 'tailpipe' protruding from the box about 50mm. The initial batch will be available at the end of September and will cost £600 excluding p&p and VAT. Form an orderly queue and contact us on 01434 601666 Pictures of a system in place will follow soon. Thanks.

what will the noise levels be and will there be an option of a silencer for track days?

We expect it to be slightly louder at the lower rev range, more so mid to high revs but a deeper note, more of a 'basey rasp' than the standard set up. Also our manufacturer claims that it will enhance the bhp but we will quantify that via a rolling road first! I would hope that there would be no implications for track days but at least with the configuration of the tailpipe that would allow the fitting of a 'supertrap' type device which I think is not possible with the standard back boxes. I will try to put a sound file on the net at some point.Hope that this covers your questions.

Another way of making a sports exhaust for the Tuscan is to sleeve them with two tubes of lighhtweight steel.

Excellent sound and not too expensive.
