Whilst finishing swapping out steering racks and doing a service i came across what looks to be some kind of sensor underneath the airbox with a label of EARL S on it. It's a braided hose screwed into a bracket just in front of the coilpack. Does anybody know what this is for as it doesn't look like it actually goes anywhere on mine.

I can't for the life of me work out what EARL S might stand for...

That's the clutch bleed pipe. Earl's is probably the manufacturer of the pipe, they do a lot of braided and anodised aluminium fittings.
