Outdoor Living

I would advise from experience that undiscovered leaks need to be discovered before winter. I spent many a cold morning with sponges absorbing LITRES of freezing water from boot and passenger footwell, needless to say this caused a lot of problems and the need for new electronics. I had a lightweight 'Voyager' cover that when fitted actually prevented a lot of water ingress but in wind, it scratched hell out of paintwork! lesson learned for me, fix leaks ASAP and if I haven't got a garage available, put the car in to storage!
Mine lives outside. I have a decent cover which keeps it dry and hasn't caused any paintwork problems. Chassis is exposed to a bit more damp than an unheated garage but generally Tuscans are pretty well protected. Previous owner waxoyled it from new. I wouldn't be too paranoid about it.
