The boot release switch on my Tuscan has stopped working (no sound of solenoid activating) I need to get into the boot as it is full of chrimbo pressies for Mrs Chim that I need to wrap while she is at work.

Can someone email me the "secret opening technique" please.

TVM.

It could be that you just need to lock / unlock the car to reset the mechanism. Mine did exactly the same about 2 weeks ago.

Otherwise try calling your dealer for secret way in.

If you accidentally push the button next to the immobiliser slot this will also prevent the boot from opening and as said you have to lock/un-lock the car for it to work again.

Mine did the dodgy solenoid for a while before failing completely. I found if I pressed the boot lid down whilst opperating the switch it worked - for a while.

At worst get round to a dealers and I am sure they will sort you out.

Thanks for the replies. Have got into the boot with "secret method" (Thanks T88CAN!). Another trip to the dealers!
