Hi everyone.
After owning a Tasmin and then a wonderful Griffith, looking to purchase a Tuscan.
What should I be looking out for when going to view.
Never looked or drove a tuscan before so all info/tips gratefully received.
I know it's short notice but a window in my work schedule has come up!

Thanks
G.M

Have a look at http://www.mytuscan.co.uk and the sticky thread "Tuscan Purchase Advice" at the top of the page.

Post a link to the advert, it may be a known car, or at least a pic a reg.

Listening for excessive rattling, the first one I had was extremely rattly at 2-2.2k rpm, get it nice and hot check for smoke, there is a mass of info on the mentioned website. Check history, rebuild, call previous people that have serviced it... Basically common sense.

I made a mistake with the first one I bought, but after a few weeks of email back and forth to the dealer, a refund was agreed.

Let us know how you get on and make a Note of any issues you may think it has. If you have a mobile with a torch and camera, this is a great toll for checking chassis and suspension parts as the flash really shows up rusty parts

MMMM!
A little disappointing really, car not as good as I thought it was condition wise.
So on to the next when I find one I like(colour interior etc).
Also I will be better prepared myself with the check list etc.
