Very sorry for asking this stupid question but how do I switch off the heating / cooling.

I think I tried all... but still a light breeze is coming from the ventilation. Not a big issue but I just don't like the breeze, from just below the steering wheel, in my face.

So that's why.. how do I switch it off please?

Thank you

Ant.

Push the fan speed control button to stop the fan running.

Take the roof off...you then won't notice the other breeze biggrin

Have you pressed the blower (fan control) button to turn it off?

thx, if it should work like that, mine must be broke. turning to minimum and pushing "off" does not change anything.

guess that is the answer.. get it fixed :-)

thank you

LOL, you know, i just open the window a bit.

But the pushing control switch does not make it stop completely...

Yep mine is a bit funny, guess the switch is broke.

Thank you :-)

Mine's the same. Just adjust the balls below the wheel so the air doesn't blow out.

You are lucky..in my Chimaera I have to hit the top of the dash to turn the fan on/off (and then when I hit a bump in the road it turns off/on!!)

biggrin

Not sure but i think the two holes where the steering wheel is are fresh air vents that always let air through even if fan switched off so just swivel the brass covers around to stop the air flow

Actually, even the vents are danger. Top tip: don't stick your finger in the air vent hole whilst the car is moving. Turn the steering wheel the wrong way is very painful! biggrin

Thank you all :-)

It is just a very funny system... recently I noticed that if I want really cold air from the AC, first I have to go to hot air and then go slowly to back cold air. Very interesting system, but it does work :-)

I just have to find a way how to stop those 2 holes at the wheel (can't turn them far enough). Guess a bit of scotch will the trick :-)
