I'm Back...............
Discussion
After all the woes with my previous Tuscan, I have bitten the bullet a put a deposit down on one today.
Not a common colour, but looked really good in the flesh.
Has had a rebuild at power in 2005 and only done 11k since, so hopefully will last a while longer than my previous one.
Does has its faults, clutch seems high, needs a good service, and LCD display fades, the of door rattle. But chassis looked spotless, feels good to be back. Collect Friday.

Thanks Guys, i too hope it proves to be as good as it looks.
Has a massive file of history which took an age to look through, even has some photos of when it was in a photo shoot with some half naked girlies....
Getting it booked into Mat Smith hopefully next week to get LCD sorted and 12k service..
wish me luck boys......

A true Tivver! You know the car will need attention and a lot of love, but you buy it anyway. I did the same... Has a massive file of history which took an age to look through, even has some photos of when it was in a photo shoot with some half naked girlies....

I find that there are people who totally 'get' these cars, or don't, with no in-between..

Well collected this morning and no signs of smoke from this one (touch wood) and I thought "they all do that"
Although car is only 18months newer than the previous short lived car, this seems so much more refined, quieter and smoother. Reading through docs, it's actually had two rebuilds, one in 2003 and another in 2005.
Looking forward to getting some tax so I can start enjoying TVR ownership again.
