Anyone had a leaky roof at all....??

I've noticed that when I get my car washed, water gets through the top front corner of the window, rolls down the door, and makes its way to the foot well. It happens on both the passanger and drivers side!!! It also happens when it rains heavily.
I've been doing a bit of investigating, and I think that I 'may' be able to fix the problem by adjusting the clamps securing the roof.
I'd be interested to see if anyone else has had a problem and found a solution.

P.S. it worth making the point that despite this - the car's goddamn awesome!!!

Hi - you don't say when your car was made - mine was oct 2000, and I had lots of leaks. There was a modification to the rubber seals where the door meets the a pillar, and I think where it meets the b on the closing side - these were added to my car under warranty, and the door type leaks went away.
Look at pictures on yahoo group if you want to see if your car has 'em. Also had roof leaks and rear window leaks.
General rule of tvrs - have a bigger hole in the floor that in the roof!

you have to apply, because it is not public - moderator will want yer chassis number and inside leg measurement, and your preferred brand of Pie. There are 200+ members, and loads of collected wisdom, search facility is handy for finding fixes to stuff.

It also makes a difference depending on what angle you're parked at if you know what I mean, pointing uphill in a shower helps! Sponge is a handy item of kit too.
