Think I have a radtec at the moment (aluminium cowl with fans bolted directly on) so I guess default is to replace like for like but interested to know about any alternatives people have good experience with.

My mk1 is pretty early so I couldn't find a new one or even a new core, so living in Hull I had a new alloy one made by Kingston Radiators & they charged a meagre £300 for the pleasure...

Looks really nice as well, not that you can really see it! Well impressed though, did a cracking job.
