Replacing carpets

Pulling out the old carpets to fit new and noticed a layer of foam - should I leave the foam in or take it out as well?

depends if it looks tired. lf the car is a keeper then do a proper carpet replacement and fit new under lining . Your TVR deserves nothing less .
