I'm off to Monza later in the year and want to get my 22 year old son insured on my Tuscan.

Anyone know of a specialist underwriter who may do this ?

2nd time trying to reply just in case the other reply comes up.
I did the same with my son last year and got laughed at, try google specialist insurance after you have spoken with your current insurer, I had the added problem that my son does not live in the UK.
We did Monza last year for the F1 and had a great time, be aware that if you book after the dates have been announced the hotels (assuming you are not camping) in Milan and surrounding area with try to force you to stay for 2/3 nights even though you don't want to, it's because they can due to the F1.
If you are ahead of the dates being issued go to hotelbooking.com as soon as the date is announced and book the hotel for one night before they get their act together.
Allow 3 days each way and enjoy, we did 2 days coming back and it is a rush.
Allow £40, I think it was for the Switzerland road pass, and some Tuscans I have heard will play up when in the mountains check with your gargage, have fun.

I think you'll struggle - or pay a big premium supplement.

However, might be worth trying these guys http://www.reis.co.uk/
They are primarily motorsport/track-day insurers, but you'll get a very professional response - whatever they deem the risk to be.

Have you enquired with your existing underwriter?

I bought my first Tuscan at 23, insured with Admiral for £1200 a year, must be relatively easy to find someone?

Im 24, got my cerbera at the age of 21 and I was £1000 for the year at admiral.
I now have a Tuscan as well and they are both on a multi car policy with admiral - £600 for the Cerb and £800 for the Tuscan - £1400 total for two TVRs is not bad, I was 23 when I took out this policy.

Adding additional drivers definatly helps.

I was as above, got my Tuscan S at 23, paid circa 1200 for the first year with no no claims, 5points and 1 crash, TVRS are usually surprisingly ok to insure.
