I suffered with a flat battery last Saturday morning and had to call the AA as I had the Anderson Connector removed for being rusty a couple of years ago. Has anybody had one fitted in a different location instead of by the front wheel?

There was a thread on here about running one into the boot over the fuel tank I believe. Makes sense to me as it's out of harms way and can still be accessed in the case of a flat battery.

I'm considering doing the same as my Anderson has been removed also.

I have done the flip bonnet conversion so it's tucked away under there. Might as well make it a bigger job than needs be smile

My second Anderson connector was located behind the carpet up in the passenger footwell, just used Velcro to re-attach the carpet!

I have it at the passenger side tuck under right below the dash shelf. Really handy for charging up.

I would have it in the front wheel arch where it can be reached on a dead car with electric door releases, but mounted to the hatch of a little sealed box,so you can open it and shove the plug in one handed in the dark!

Does anyone have any pics of the changes they have made? I've got a bmw cable that is really long. Bmw use it to go from the battery in the boot to the engine bay. Trying to work out what I could do with that? Any ideas.
