Change them to HiDs,
The small sidelights just need a bulb change.
The upper lights need a HiD kit which is not to difficult a job to fit, I did it in my Cerbera with Tuscan style lights.
The main beam/ flash has to stay as they are because the HIDs take a few seconds to get up to full brightness so not ideal for flash or

Change the dipped beam to HIDs, makes a world of difference...

Red Roses had HIDs for main beams IIRC... even though they are not "full on" right away, the light is brighter than a normal bulb, even with a short flash smile

MK 1 S has HIDs in main beam as standard along with additional halogen for instant main beam. Changed my dipped to HID bought from Ebay China. They are ok and have been in the car over a year. Don't go for too high K value as they are too blue. Ballasts interfere with the radio but who needs music when you have a str8six or, move the aerial. Lastly at MOT time as dipped HIDs are not OEM they may fail the test. I've been lucky so far. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/imgs/2.gif

My Mk1 S has HiD main beam, and certainly is more than adequate. On first application you can see the colour temperature change as the unit warms.
