Truly a piece of art but for me restoration to that level would create deep psychological problems the first time I ever took it onto the road for it to come into contact with the environment.

One stone chip or even downpour would be mentally devastating requiring hours of work just to bring it back to its optimum. It'd end up a garage queen.

Still...I can see the appeal.

Hi Guys

Well its now sold (deposit taken and due for collection next week).
Good detective work there wongthecorrupter wink

I have been in 2 minds for most of this year what to do keep it or sell it.
I posted up a few posts in the Ferrari section a while back of my dream ferrari(355),
and someone who owns a 355 expressed his interest in my tuscan as PX, so basically that got me thinking about actually owning a Ferrari.

These actual posts i made in the ferrari section was enough to get 2 people very interested in my car which at the time was not advertised for sale, and not my intentions to gain a sale more opinions of what to do as i was unsure.

here are the threads in question

I used to use the tuscan and my other car for cars shows on the business stand showing what we can offer , but this year i did not attend any shows and the Tuscan has served its purpose well and as we dont need the car for advertising any more (well hopefully it stays that way for the future).

Also even thou its my trade and what we carry out with in my business i still like to work on my own cars as a hobby , i dont drink or smoke live a very simple life so my time and money is spent on my cars.

Hence i decided to go ahead and sell the Tuscan to the first person who viewed it at good value (i dont see my own cars as a way to try and make money) and look for a ferrari 355.

I will be interested what the ferrari will bring to me with its ownership?

I am sure i wont leave what ever ferrari i buy alone for long thou biggrin

interesting as this quote

"Truly a piece of art but for me restoration to that level would create deep psychological problems the first time I ever took it onto the road for it to come into contact with the environment."

This what happens to me on all my finished cars, and i just cant help myself.
