Tuscan Diagnostic Fault Code 'I' - Should I be concerned?
Discussion
Comes on intermittantly and usually when the car is about to stall when I come down from speed to idling. Apparently the code itself means 'Oil Temperature Sensor Open Circuit' - whatever that is???
Anyway, I can clear the warning from the display by just pressing the button and it goes away and doesn't come back for sometimes days.
But...is it something to be concerned about? The Oil temp itself seems stable thoughout any journey.

List of error codes from www.mytuscan.co.uk
•A - Speedo sensor not activating zero switch
•B - Speedo sensor not releasing zero switch
•C - Water level sensor not activating zero switch
•D - Water level sensor not releasing zero switch
•E - Fuel level sensor not activating zero switch
•F - Fuel level sensor not releasing zero switch
•G - Water level sensor open circuit
•H - Air temp sensor open circuit
•I - Oil temp sensor open circuit
•J - Oil pressure sensor open circuit
•K - Fuel level sensor open circuit
•L - Erratic road speed sensor input
•O - No communications between analogue and control
Your Code I looks like the oil temp sensor is starting to play up. Easy to replace yourself, buy from TVR Power/Racetech Direct/Racing Green. Sensor is located on rear of dry sump tank - accessible from drivers side front wheel arch. If you're quick you can 'snatch-it' without loosing too much oil.
