My Tuscan has developed a squeak, but only when up to temperature and beyond. It seems to be coming from the pulleys by the air box,i.e aircon pulley waterpump etc.Has any body else had this trouble, could it be the waterpump squeeking ? , I hope not this a engine out job isn't it

Might sound daft but a good dab of white spirit on the belt should make it sticky, until it wears off, so if this stops the noise it needs a tension up for sure. This is not so easy to tension as the air box, and AC pump if fitted, are in the way. Also the power steering pump is crammed down there. The flat belts need a fair tug so don't be shy

Not uncommon for a dealer not to change these belts on a service,
so if in doubt replace it, took me 2 hours last time i did one, just another of the Tuscans little time consuming niceties

it turns out its the expansion tank rubbing on its bracket, any ideas what I can put in between them that will not melt and catch fire

Squares of foam backed tape. It won't catch fire unless you set fire to it.
