I'm considering installing a harness bar in my Tuscan S Mk1, so I would really appreciate some input from those of you who've already done it. Installation pictures, harness bar suppliers, pictures of the installed finished item all welcome!

Thanks in advance...

I have one fitted, plus 6 point harnesses. Think I put a post up a while back on it and you can also see a pic in the carpool article done on the car: http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyI...

It's motorsport level compliant, done by Topcats Racing. Drop me a PM if you want to know more.

That appears to be a very elegant solution!

Is the bar only fixed in 2 locations? If so couldn't it twist around in an impact?

...and..how twist/rotate?..my english is not so good..so hard for me to explaine.

my harnessbar has a angle, so it can not rotate like other harnessbars..these other bars use extra fixpoints at the bottom of the seat.

How are you going to pad the corners close to the drivers head

no pads needed..its only the angle of the picture...the bar and the points on the Tuscan Rollcage is behind the seat.
