Wipers won't

There I was this morning having a quiet chuckle to myself about the reliability of the EVO's Boxter S when the wipers packed up in Acton High street in the pouring rain.
Motors are still whining ( as am I)so it'll be a Dohickey I guess. Is this a back to dealer issue or does someone with greater mechanical ability than I know how to fix it.

Take the bonnet off (needs two people) and have a look. Possibly the plunger plug has some out of the driver arm connected to the motor.

Happened to mine - fixed it myself but came out again - dealer fixed it by drilling a hole through and securing with a pin.

I've got exactly the same. Drilling a hole in the plug, and putting a pen or screw in it will solve the problem, as Andy said.
