Hi Guys My Pod on my Tuscan has gone up the spout. The LCD display sometimes shows me all the details and some other times only shows me the top and bottom half then sometimes the middle of LCD lines through the writing disappears completely. Also the analog speedo has started playing up and now just sits at 10 MPH. Any one experienced the same or similar? What's this going to cost me?

Most likely scenario (in my opinion): Pod'll need to come out and go back to the factory. Will take a few days to turnaround. Car won't be driveable in the meantime. When I had similar problems (both analog speedo being out, and lines across the display), the paperwork shows 1.5 hours labour at the factory for it. Add to that an hour or two/whatever to take it out/put it back in your car at the dealer.

Or you could get a warranty, wait a few weeks, then claim on the policy (but I didn't suggest that )...

No probs. Odds are your dealer will have had to do this more than once in the past, and will be able to give you a better idea of the pound notes involved (the bill for mine was lumped in with a load of other stuff, so I can't give you a cost for what I paid).

I had mine done as a freebie by the factory when it was in for other stuff but I was told it would have cost about 300 quid. They replaced a couple of the boards and it's been perfect since.

Had the car from new in April and the car has been back to the dealers 3 times (yes!! three times )in the last five months for pod problems(analogue speedo stopped working, backlight bulb broke and illegible garble)and to cap it all off, it's started playing up again(background going dark so you can't read what's on the display / erratic readouts). I think that when the pod goes back to the factory, they put it in a big tombola, give it a spin and then pick out somebody else's broken pod and put it back in my car !! If this is not the case, can somebody at TVR tell me why the pod keeps failing so often ?? Not a happy bunny.
p.s. After all is said and done though, I still love the Tusc to bits !!

On the back of the pod there will be the name of the person who constructed it.

I know of a case recently where a specialist removed one, phoned the factory, spoke to the person, send it off... got it back two days later fully working with a note of apology...
