CARBON CANS

Just back from the local Kwik-Fit who put on my new carbon cans free! What a difference in sound, infact better than my cerb with sports exhaust.

Excellent sevice from the Carbon Can boys as well.

this wouldnt be where the manager told them to turn it off cause he couldnt hear the phone by any chance?? (just spoke to roy at ccc about my 'birthday pressie' !!)

is there a vast difference in noise?

Oooooh, yes there is.

I was following Methanol in his S on Sunday and boy did that make some great noises. I'm just calculating cashflow and then mine are on order

Vast.

It did sound a bit Max Power in my opinion though - still better than not having them, mind. Adding the decat makes it a much deeper sound. And vastly louder again.

I was in Bethnal Green and the Manager did tell us not too be so noisy....The sound is very different with lots of pops and bangs. As i said i am use to the cerb as well, so its THAT GOOD !!

Which ones did you get ? and , How much were they? (sorry to be so rude as to ask)

I had a look on there website, I cant see prices for Cars.

I might treat myself as well, How long from order to delivery (I cant wait!!!!)

Got mine from CCC. £275 for plain stainless ones (not blue/scorched/whatever). Arrived within 24 hours. Fitted within 24 minutes (with the help of an irish screwdriver)

I was at the performance & kit car festival last weekend, though, where there was another company making similar but much meaner looking cans... was very tempted by an upgrade.

Hi Nick- I brought the plain stainless ones(silver tuscan) and were about £280 inc del..got them after a few days-sent to work and they called me the day before to warn me! Good service as i said .

At £280 in delivery, you cant go wrong!

I shall give them a ring now! so I should have them before the weekend

JSG, yep thought about the de-cat, but I shall try the CCCs first

Hopefully I shall beat 2 alarms. Each Morning when I park in the Multi car park, I usually set of 1 car alarm. Did do 2 on one occasion. Surley, out of 100s of cars I should be able to beat 2!!!
