My door / window LEDs are on all the time, even with no key in the ignition! Everything works ok, its just the fact that they are on but shouldn't be. Has anyone seen this before? Or know a fix?

Happens on mine when the window dials aren't in the "right position". By this I mean you can feel it click when you turn. If the dial is inbetween clicks, then the light stays on.

Sounds like your problem may be different though.

Mmmm. The leds are supposed to flash whilst you are moving indicating the doors are locked - and turn on constantly when you come to a halt to show they are unlocked.

When you lock your car the leds will flash for about 30 seconds as the immobiliser closes the windows. I think then they go off.

Did your car use to work like this ? I'm just wondering as you could open the doors at speed on the original Tuscans (!) before a fix was introduced.

Otherwise, if only one led is on maybe it's the switch as suggested, otherwise I would guess something else common - like the immobiliser. Is there a common control unit for both windows ?

Cheers,

Andy.
