Does anyone know what type of LED is in the clocks? I have a few that aren't working on my dash, along with the speedo worm gear dropping off every now and then! So it'll be a job to do over the Xmas period!

Hi, if you go to the bottom of this thread you can see the LEDs. They are the flat surface mount type about 2mm by 4 mm. The LEDs are quite reliable though so maybe check the power supply to them first. .

Re the worm gear, are you sure its not he speedo sensor that's playing up? Mine did the dropping thing up until I changed it.

Thanks for the posts, I think the speedo sensor is fine as the digital display still works fine. The led that lights up the needle and the menu switch isn't working, so I'll try the connectors first before stripping it down, but then like I say, I'm pretty convinced I need to strip it down at some point to fix the worm gear, but also my perspex screen has been pushed back in the housing so needs to be taken apart just to presss/glue it back in place anyway! It seems when I accelerate hard the speedo decides to stop working and either freezes in one place or drops off.

Yes mileometer still works fine as does my digital display, but the analogue/needle still doesn't read correctly. I'll get the pod sent off to Paul White over the winter.
