Crikey, you don't miss a trick to you!? The previous owner was a bloke Also careful... and a PH member so be careful what you say about our driving styles.

I know, I know, I really should change it to TVR_Girl before the next one arrives! Having discussed this idea over a few beers at the weekend with some of the Northern PH gang, I've been firmly told that I'm not allowed to change it! :sigh:

I can vouch for the car and the £3,000 stereo cos it was me that had it installed by the factory!

That price did not include fitting! If anyone off here buys the car I have just recently found my photos of it being built if they want them.

I can assure you it's a good un....

Thanks

It is a great car, I've had lots of fun with it for the last year, I'm going to be sad when it goes.

Are you sure? Boxster_Girl has a nice ring to it.

Seriously Jo, good luck with the sale. I think you have priced it very competitively. I would be tempted myself but I already have one!

I'd say that is a bargain for both some 'rock' and 'roll' all in the same package.

Aargh, so tempted by this Jo.

The seeds were sewn when we were chatting at Bolton Abbey. Sarah seemed rather keen too but sadly we may be out of fun-car ownership for 6-12 months

Should know in the next couple of months or so (hence I'm tending to try stay away from these pages at the moment - too much talk of Yorks PH'ers buying new machinery).

Good luck with the sale, looking forward to seeing the replacement...

Blimey, I wasn't expecting to read that. I thought you'd just started a new job, congratulations BTW.

Thanks, yep job's fine, just thinking of parting with the Chim until me & sarah get ourselves in the same location.

I'm struggling to justify the costs of fortnightly round trips to Surrey plus the commute to Halifax every day. If Sarah can't get a move up here in the near future I'm tempted to part with the car & put the money we'll save into something special again in 6-12 months. As you know, I've been aching for a Tam since a certain somebody arranged an impromtu test drive...!

The Tuscan will do about 28mpg on a run so you could buy it and save money.

Right, pack it in you lot. I've had sleepless nights weighing up the pro's and cons of selling up & having a sensible six months or so and don't need confusing further!

Plan is: sell car, run something (more)sensible whilst still doing the Surrey runs, then once the missus is working up here I withdraw the vast sum of money I've religiously been putting away every month & spend it on a Tamora. Well, that's the plan...

All suggestions for sub £10k sensible-ish-but-fun-ish motor as a temporary replacement are welcome. Thinking Alfa 147 or possibly a well looked-after Impreza (if I can find one).

Get a Tuscan, incredibly sensible, goes like stink and it heaps of fun. Instead of a 10k workhorse spend 2 to 3k on something from the auction, Toyata Avensis, Mundano etc to pile the miles on and not worry about where you leave it. Sorted.

Have I also mentioned that a Tuscan makes you irresistable to woman and is sure to get you a payrise and a promotion?

It'll cost you as much to run a scooby as a Tuscan. The insurance on them is crazy, and they use a lot of juice.

Go on, you know you want to.
