Half asleep whilst driving into my garage I managed to prang the front near side wing just underneath the lights. Fibre glass punctured and cracked from hitting the point-end of a brick - damage approx. 4" in diameter.

Spoke to Henley and, as ever, sympathetic and advised I bring the car down on Saturday for an opinion on damage and cost.

Anyone else had a similar experience and what sort of costs can I expect to sort this out?

Next time I'll pay more attention to controlling wheel spins on a gravel drive!!

just a point-dont bother getting it fixed at a TVR dealer-I had a similiar prang and was quoted £600 from a TVR dealer-I got it fixed for £280 from a local paint/repair outfit and it looks as good as new for half the price.

agree about the independent approach. was quoted £100 to repair a small crack on front bonnet by an independent body shop, as opposed to £300 by dealer. Problem is that their respray will probably put the rest of the paintwork to shame !!!!
