I had just settled on parting with my cash for a brand new Tuscan from a dealers stock, I knew there was a convertable coming but for various resons a hard targa top is better for me. But know we have a MKII standard Tuscan which IMO from the pics looks wonderful. It would seem nuts to pay full up money for what is now "the old model" and probabley not a great investment. If I go down the route of ordering one from the factory how long does it normaly take? asuming all new orders are going to be the MkII cars.

I would guess that any new Tuscans dealers have in stock are going to be reduced, although there will be peeps that may not like the new car, I work for Ford for many years and we always made sure we had shifted all the old shape cars ready for the new models as it was hell getting shot of them after the launch

Sounds like a win win scenario! if you don't like the new style.

During a factory tour last week we were told it takes about 4 weeks to build a car to order (and they're all built to order), but I dunno what the waiting list is like!!
