Hi,
Just start the car with the key...? If the key fob is not working and that key is one that is coded to the car then just start the car... or are you now saying the door wont open even with the lock unlocked with the blade ?
Mike
Hi Mike, thats right, the blade will not open the door. It just sets the alarm off.Just start the car with the key...? I put the blade in, lift the handle, the window opens ever so slightly, then the alarmsounds!! I am seriously stuck!
Cheers
Hi,
Does the lock undo when the key is turned....? as it should unlock manually. if you have turned it and the handle still won't open the door... if nothing happens then the blade from the lock inner part has not been fitted when the door lock module has been replaced ...see this a few times before and as you only use the central locking you never find out till its too late !

I had this problem last week, when getting into the car to take it to Mike for new key head we'd ordered!
It felt like a cable or something had come off inside and the door handle was doing nothing.
However, I held the key in the unlock position until the windows dropped, then opened the door with the inner handle.
Turned the car on, started it, turned it off, unlocked the central locking (when opened with the key blade, this always required both doors to be shut first before the c/locking button would work) and it was fine again afterwards, and 30 minutes later it had a new remote so not had to do anything similar again!

Update...
Just got home after using thegooses method of gaining entry; use blade of key, held in unlock position until window opens enough to use the interior door handle, started car, and turned engine off again.
Locked the door using the key blade, tried unlocking it again, and hey presto - it works fine!!
Not sure what happened, but know that thegoose saved the day!!

Guys, HELP !!! HOW DO I GET INTO MY CAR >?
I have similar problem.. I have two keys.. recently replaced battery in both and now only yellow one works.. - i guess red one is dead..
I am locked out of my CAR !! cant get in because the second key the yellow key does not unlock the door ? if i insert the blade it does nothing.. i can insert and rotate no problem - i just dont get a result. driving me bonkus.. have car , have key, just cant get in..
So yellow key flashes red when i hit the button so battery must be ok
Car has a flashing red light in the middle of the dash board (i guess imobiliser) so i assume it should be working..
puttin gall this aside i should be able to open door with key blade.. i did recently have my relay for window replaced (last month)and wonder if they failed to re-connect something..
