These are 8.5 inch and 11 inch BBS's. Wheels are 225/40/18, 285/30/18. Had the wheel centers painted BBS gold.

Very nice, although cant help thinking silver centres would have looked better.

Do you have any more pics?

I agree - nice wheels but silver would have looked better (IMHO anyway!)

Question of taste: I opted for gold because it is the traditional Porsche BBS racing wheel color. I, personally, like it.

I had thought the BBS looked good, but actually prefer the originals.

Sure there must be a 'wheels that suit 993's somewhere'.

I like those wheels also. Are they still available? I thought BBS went bust or am I getting mixed up? Anyone any thoughts with regards to gold or black BBS wheels on a pastal yellow 993 W/B car.

You can order them here:

On your car, I'd go with black centers....

I much prefer the look of the std 18" turbo wheels. Far stronger and a damb site easier to clean. BBS's bend to easily.

Do they really? I thought BBS were amongst the best out there.

I notice they do different centres, Aluminium and Magnesium? Perhaps its that Mags that are more susceptible to bending.

I think BBS LMs are the best wheels out there

Mine are aluminum centers. Magnesium centers are strictly for racing, and are too fragile.

Have been racing on my BBSs (alu) for years. Bouncing off kerbs every race weekend and still going strong.

And gold is the proper colour...
