HID Xenon conversion problem - Cayenne

[Matt S]

I've recently purchased the Ebay special HID Xenon Conversion Kit. Its featured in this forum.

I've seen these fitted to 993'2s with no problem, however I've fitted them to my Cayenne and while they work great, its tripping the bulb failure system on the computer.

The guy who sold me the kit has tried to be helpful by supplying additional wiring harnesses containing a relay, and resistors to fit between the ballasts and bulbs, but still no joy.

Has anyone successfully fitted this system to a Cayenne, and got round the problem of it tripping the computer?

Thanks, Matt

You need a much more advanced HID kit, resistors and relays are just curing the symptoms and not solving the problem.

Thanks, I'm beginning to realise that now I think.

Can you supply a kit that can sort me out?
