Sorry - cant seem to get an answer to this simple(ish) question:

Can anyone tell me if the PCM1 on an '02 996 will be compatiable with the Dension gateway 500?

I think you need a 'most' fibre optic bus - but am not sure if this is on the PCM1 units. - I've searched - but the dension site seems to imply that this will work with later models only...

Basically, (as I'm sure most do) - I want to be able to hook up and control through the main unit and leave the ipod in glovebox.

Can be done on a base spec fiesta these days - surely there is a solution for a 911!!!

Thanks in advance!

I've got reasonable solutiohn and Ive gor PCM1 16 bit

www.harmankardon.com/drive-1/

It was in my car when I got it, works well and I just have my IPOD in the glovebox.

Version 1 is less that £50.00 on E Bay now I think, I would ratehr a Dension as I'm not keen on the additional screen but its funcionality is very good

Tough Dension Icelink 300 and 400 would work, wouldnt they?
