Noboby should be paying over £35k for a 2002 C2 IMO - Targe or Not, C4S £38k max, TT £42K.

Edit - Ask him to take £895 off to cover warranty.

Yeah, I was thinking if I could get him down to around the £3.1m mark I'd be into the right sort of territory!

You can have mine for £3,500,000 (and I'd throw in my house, wife and three other cars !)

Well thats buggered up my chances of getting a good price for my Targa ! But seriousley does the targa command a premium or require a discount over a C2 coupe. Up to and including the 964 its clear theres a discount for a targa (because I presume of the loss of the sleek coupe looks and the propensity to leak) but is this the case for the rarer and ulta sleek later targa cars ?

Its only my opinion Hoges from what i have observed during my long search for a 996 - They dont seem to sell as a few have been on the Autotrader for over 4 months - Gurds Red at Millbrow Motors is the one i can think of off the top of my head at £34995 (2002 37k miles).

I'm sure a more knowledgeable trade types will probably disagree - but i think this time of year a targa will be at least aligned with a standard C2 coupe, if not a slight bit more.

Certainly from my (samle size of 1) perspective - when i was looking for a car - the targa was a clear (no pun intended), favourite over a similarly priced C2.

All IMHO.
