Definately.

The 996 isn't loved as a shape so no one wants them. Why would you buy a 997 when you can have a 993. Far prettier.

Prices simply reflect this I think.

Yep - it's just a supply and demand thing. High volume - getting on a bit, lots about. Good for buyers!

Good news. I agree that it is no way near as pretty as the 993, but hey if for circa 30k I can get a well looked after 996 its very tempting.

Supply and Demand - Rich are getting richer so you are more likely to see more prestige cars driving around and people upgradeing every 1-2 years.

...and are heavier, worse handling and slower than a 996. Those are facts, not opinions.

Had one, well definitely have another (and probably 2 or 3).

Personally I think you're getting fantastic car at a fantastic price - and with plenty of modern convenience and comfort as well as outstanding performance.

Depends what you want though. you're hardly gonna pull in a 993 , they are old mans cars IMO. Nice if you're over 50 . I like the 996 shape but the 997 shape is better . You pays your money so they say.........

yes

Believe it or not some of us don't like the look of the 993. yikes

Also, see if you can get this, I preferred the 996 to drive as it suits my tastes. Weird, huh? We all seem to like different things.

Supply and demand dictates prices, also think that ad is a little pricey.
