The silver one at £70k? Seems expensive.
A Clubsport with leather buckets? Normally it would be nomex.

Seems a reasonable price to me if the cars as good as it sounds. I'm sure this is a Comfort Model with Seats replaced and Half Cage added.
Very few cars about at the moment, 3 or 4 on Autotrader of which two have questionable history
and the ones for sale here www.pistonheads.com/sales/list.asp?g=1&dist=100&pc=&min=51000&max=85000&y1=&y2=&txt=gt2&px=&nodays=60&filter=TP&o=p&Submit=Search I'd rather spend a few k more than buy a 996 GT2 on a budget...

Ballast ! You could always buy mine www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/163356.htm and save yourself a few bob

Is a friend selling it?
Odd, Slippydiff paid much less than that for his not too long ago. Looked nice enough.
If someone wants to pay £70k in private sale, so be it but they'd do better to get a real idea of where values lie from an independent source, rather than the usual hype or knocking down of prices that happens here. Quite tiresome really.

Fair play to you if you can make a profit.
I remember talking to the owner when it originally went up for sale, unfortunately you beat me to the viewing and the purchase.

I have a figure in my head that I'd be prepared to let the car go for
Add the brakes, tyres, warranty, geo set-up and the detail I had carried out, to what I paid for the car and there's no profit in it believe me.
Bottom line, if you want a genuinely never crashed, no panels replaced, not repainted, not modified (engine/exhaust wise) car for sensible money you won't find cheaper.
he guzzumped me after I had viewed and agreed with seller to wire next day - not his fault seller was dishonourable....first come first served i guess -NOT- but anyway I bought the black bucketed and caged "Performance Time" car via PH ironically this car too is up for sale....plug plug

Jammy.
I wasn't aware of that, the seller (as the CEO of a rather large corporation) didn't seem the type of person to pull a stunt like that.
Just goes to prove you can't tell a book by its cover..................

You did hit a badger in it though! Got to be a bit of blood and fur underneath somewhere.

I just fancy a change that is the only reason for my sale. The link works when i try it,is anyone else having trouble with the link?
Initially, put mine up because I heard of another, 7.5k, un damaged gt2, needless to say I have since been told - by the vendor - differently - although the car was cheapish and repaired by Porsche I want un damaged. So if i get any takers on my pristine example, I may go for a(very expensive)modified black 2004my car - we know the one.........
