Okay Porsche folk, what might this be worth?
VF = "Very Fast"?
Or, a Vernon, Veryl, Vanessa or Victoria F?

Are you selling?

'911' followed by two letters would be quite sought after, even with something fairly obscure like 'VF'.

Agencies and chancers often advertise plates like this at silly money, but they don't sell. IMO c.£2.5k(ish) would be fair for a private sale.

Henry didn't PM you in time did he? He got to everyone else telling us to leave alone or otherwise "help" with the valuation and post suggesting it was worth £200 and a bag of chips

I'd have thought £3k for a quick private sale. Maybe worth sticking it in the Sunday Times at £5k ono. A plate trader would probably advertise it at £7/8k, but why not when it doesn't stand them in for anything and they can keep charging the owner of the plate for the advertising costs.

There is also a classifieds section on PH which is free to individual members:

Having given it some serious thought overnight I find myself disagreeing with many of you.

My offer of £500 may have been a little hasty & £375 might be near the mark. VF912 SDT, a very similar plate in many respects sold for £50 so in light of that I`d say a more than fair offer.

five thousand pounds, I ask you rolleyes

All the best, Veronica Firman

My appologies: V912 SDT, as you can see VF 911 almost bloody identical

Some tell him it`s been on a Gumball car & has over a thousand outstanding warrants accross Europe & 14 American States. Surely that will help my cause

Oh and someone else post how vulgar private plates and starting to become, or how Mayor Tony is going to tax cars wearing them.
