Hi there from Hong Kong. Wondered if anyone could help me out. I clocked this yellow 964 while at the beach on Sunday and am rather confused as to what it actually is. When I saw it coming down the road I noticed black intakes on the front bumper which alerted me to the fact that it wasn't a standard 964. So I got the camera out and, unfortunately due to the start up speed was only able to manage a shot of the back end.

The badging is what has me baffled. The rear wing sports 'RS 3.8' badging, but the lid sports 'RS 3.6' badging. Can anyone shed any light on this?! I know both cars are rare and I was wondering which this one was.

This is my first post - be gentle!

Hard to say just from photo but my bet would be a 3.6 Turbo with a 3.8RS rear deck

as lightweight says, it is hard to say from photo.....if it is a turbo then it has had an RS rear bumper fitted.

Didn`t the 3.6 turbo 2 have the same centre section of the rear bumper as an RS as standard. (It does say turbo 3.6 on the back !

It's a standard C4 anniversary, re-painted with cargraphics and some random badges and body bits.

Silly really.

I think Henry is right. The Turbo 3.6 did have the RS rear centre section as standard - which the C4 Celebration didn't. A Turbo 3.6 with the added 3.8 rear wing looks the most likely.

It's a RHD car though. You are unable to register a LHD car in Hong Kong. All LHD cars (F50, 360 Stradale, Enzo etc...) carry dealer plates here.

Thanks for the replies btw.

Quite sure that this is the correct explanation.
My query would be what price does a RHD 964 turbo 3.6 go for in HK?
