I did have a V reg one in yellow a few years ago (V862 KDM). If you can get the chassis number I can check if that's the one, but I'll only be able to tell you that it was a very nice 7,000 mile car 4 years ago, so may not be too much help anyway.

First Gt3 I drove was an identical Speed Yellow 1999(V) Mk1. Same spec., but not the same car.

It was gorgeous.

Get an official Porsche Warranty on it (ie so it passes the 111 point checks) and it could be a good buy. There are some with lower miles but a bit more money.

There's another real nice example on ebay - see adjacent thread.

I presume you've seen the ad for the same car here on PH (maybe from the owner)?

Yes, spotted it after I posted Jeremy. The car's at a trader's now - I assume on SOR?...if that's the case, he can't be taking anything out of it!

Or the owner is happy to drop the price £4-5K ...

Are you stalking my car buying habits? hehe

If you mean Wednesday with BaT then I may be .... not booked yet though.

Even if I'm not there in the Yellow Peril, I might call in to say hello. wavey

How about www.pistonheads.com/sales/162774.h if you can get him down to £40k(ish)?

Unfortunately it'll never lose the Cat D, but it is reflected in the price.
