the tips on my 996tt are very corroded. tried a drimmel to clean them up and it is possible but i doubt i could get them as clean as i would want without spending a lot of time on them - so i gonna change them.

At the moment i have the standard tt sort of oval tips slightly flat at the bottom. I dont like the joined circle ones that porsche do so any other options rather then getting a new set of what i already have.

?

thanks
Rick

im not sure to be honest!

might be having a look at design911.com to see what they have. got a feeling they may offer a non-oem set that look like the twin pipes on a carrera s.

other than that, i really dont think pork made anything other than the standard pipes and the oval jobbies you dont like

There's not too many companies out there that provide twin round exhaust tips for a 996TT - most of them are based on the original design or the twin overlaying oval design (seems to be very popular).

However, check out companies like fabspeed, dansk, gemballa, etc as they have their own exhaust systems usually with custom tips - you may just be able to buy the tips. Fabspeed definitely do twin tips.

Also, try cargraphic as they definitely do them:

www.cargraphic.de/index.php?/s,6,7,18,717,735/ (hope the link works).

Other than that you can definitely get a set custom manufactured (not cheap) - just make sure they're in stainless or chromed as they won't corrode as badly.

Cheers - Erik

Stevo, very similar to Techart Tips.

I've just ordered some Polished Techart Tips to finish off my Techart System, they look very good quality and a little more individual than the standard X50 type tip IMO , only downside is they're rather pricey at around £477.00 eek

I would imagine someone like Haywood and Scott could make you whatever tip's you wanted. For a price.
