Second Hand/Right Hand Drive RUF's

I am in the process of moving over from TVR's to Porsche's. Please can someone point me in the right direction of Second Hand/Right Hand Drive RUF's from 996 upwards as i am finding it very hard to find any

There are very few in the UK at all, so it's rare any come up for sale.

In terms of RUF VIN cars ie cars sold as new RUFs with a RUF chassis number I am only aware of three that came to the UK so far for 996 and 997. AdamT has the only rhd UK RTurbo (997) I know of and the two 997s are RT12 bodied (LeonS and Cho), one is supercharged, the other the full 650bhp TT. None of these cars are for sale. There may have been more supercharged 997s come over, but I've not heard of them from Adam. I also think a couple of Ruf 911 engine boxsters made it over.

There are more Ruf conversions here, but they still probably only number 10-20 at a guess.

Perhaps AdamT would be able to give us some more detailed info, as he worked at Ruf and still goes there very regularly.

Ill just echo Guys comments, there are very few around.

I remember seeing a 996 r turbo conversion with a 520 engine upgrade for sale but this was 5 or so years ago There are very few in the uk.

There is an r turbo conversion for sale at Ruf, it is seal grey, however the owner had very poor taste, and it has a dubious spec. Though it is cheap, and might be worth looking at....

But really 996 turbos in germany are really cheap, might be worth just picking one up and taking it to ruf and have them tailor make a package which is right for you.
